The Funeral Service for Wallace “Wally” Dunn of Albert Lea , will be held at



11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove. The Reverend Roger Davies and Reverend George Marin will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea , and one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery at a later date. Wally died on Thursday morning, September 17, 2009 at his home. He was 80. He was born on August 4, 1929, at the home farm near Geneva the son of Walter and Mary (Aukes) Dunn. He graduated from Ellendale High School in 1947. He married Dee Sabbadino in 1954. To this union three children were born, David Brant, Lisa Joy, and Leah Ruth Anne. He later



married Alice Thompson in 1983. She preceded him in death in 1987. Wally



was united in marriage to Janet Stadheim on August 25, 2001. Wally spent his life doing what he loved, farming in the Ellendale and Geneva area. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove. He had served on the Ellendale School Board, the Ellendale Lions, the Storytellers, had held offices in Sustainable Ag.



Wally had a passion for traveling and was fortunate to have seen many parts of the world. Spur of the moment road trips were the best. He is survived by his wife Janet Stadheim of Albert Lea ; his children: David Brant Dunn of Los Angeles , CA , Lisa Dunn and her husband Bob Wayne of Ellendale , MN , Leah Scott and her husband Bill of Wright, MN, brother Lloyd Dunn and his wife Joy of Corona, CA, several stepchildren and step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mary Dunn, his stepmother Vanda Dunn, wife Alice and sisters Lois Cook and Florence Ryland. Wally’s favorite time was “coffee time” and he so appreciated all the visits with the special people in his life.
