Funeral services for Vickie Lil Seul of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2017 at St Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. Father Russell Scepaniak will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 until 8 PM at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Albert Lea.
Vickie died Sunday February 12, 2017 at her home in Albert Lea. She was 65 years of age.
Vickie was born May 24, 1951 in Austin, MN, the daughter of Vernon and Anita (Johnson) Wood. She graduated from Albert Lea High School and Riverland Community College. On September 18, 1971 she was united in marriage to Stephen Seul in Albert Lea.
Vickie was a member of St Theodore Catholic Church, Women of the Moose in Albert Lea and "Supper Skippers on Tuesdays". She touched the lives of many customers in her 33 years of service with Hy-Vee and participated in numerous cancer activities over the past 10 years. In her free time she enjoyed camping, golfing, bowling, gardening and crafts which were special gifts received by many. Grandkids always played a special part in her life.
Vickie is survived by her husband Stephen of Albert Lea, MN; mother Anita Wood of Albert Lea, MN, children Jenna (Matt) Olivero of Alexandria, MN, Jamie (Jason) Kormanik of Lakeville, MN, Chris Seul (Jasmine Brabac) of Albert Lea, MN. Grandchildren include Anthony, Blaine and Logan Olivero, Savanna and Roman Kormanik and Aliyeh Seul. There are three sisters; Linda Geyen of Bloomington, MN, Kathy VanRiper of Rochester, MN, Debbie (Jay) Flink of Albert Lea, MN, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Vernon Wood, grandparents John and Lilian Wood, Weldon and Cylvia Johnson and father and mother in law Henry and Mary Seul.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
