Vicki Gulbrandson

A memorial service for Vicki Gulbrandson will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 10th at the East Freeborn Lutheran Church, 23758 785th Avenue, rural Albert Lea, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at the East Freeborn Cemetery.
Vicki Lynn (Krejci) Gulbrandson, 69, of Albert Lea, died of cancer at her home on Monday, February 6, 2017.
Vicki was born on April 25, 1947 to Victor and Elvera (Linse) Krejci. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie. Vicki attended and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School and Mankato State University. She was united in marriage to Gregory Gulbrandson on January 11, 1979, and the couple was married for 38 years. Their son, Daniel Gregory Gulbrandson was born on June 13, 1984. Daniel "Danny" was Vicki's pride and joy. Daniel died on July 16, 2010. Vicki was a member of the East Freeborn Lutheran Church, Albert Lea, MN. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, and spending time with her family. Above all, Vicki was a devoted wife and mother.
Vicki was preceded in death by her son, Daniel; parents, Victor and Elvera Krejci and three brothers Steven, Brian and Paul Krejci. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother in-law Howard and Alice Gulbrandson.
She is survived by her husband, Greg; three sisters Brenda (Frank) Fell of Meriden, MN., Karen (Mark) Thoen of Blooming Prairie, MN., Nancy Krejci of Rochester, MN., and one brother James (Diane) Krejci of Blooming Prairie, MN; brother and sister -in-laws, Gary (Shelly) Gulbrandson, Jim (Mary) Gulbrandson and John (Denise) Gulbrandson all of Albert Lea, MN. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
