Thomas Supalla

The Funeral Service for Thomas H. Supalla, of New Richland, will be held

at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 21, 2009 at All Saints Catholic Church in

New Richland . Father Swammi will officiate. Interment will be in

Calvary Cemetery . Visitation will be from 4-7 on Thursday at Friedrich

Funeral Home, New Richland and one hour before the service at the church.

There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Thomas died on Monday evening August 17, 2009 at the Owatonna Homestead

Hospice. He was 69. He was born on January 14, 1940, in Jefferson County , Iowa the son of Herman and Evelyn ( Kaska) Supalla. Thomas served our country in the U.S. Army from 1963- 1966, obtaining the rank of Sargeant. He married Mary Janka, to this union one son, Todd was born. They were later divorced. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Thomas is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Todd and Heather

Harold and Marlene Supalla of Hartland , MN , Dennis and Lola Supalla of

Hartland , MN , Roger and Deb Supalla of Mankato , MN , Alan Supalla of Owatonna ,

Rosemary and Richard Olson of Rochester , MN , Pat and Ted Oenning of

Rochester , MN , Curt and Margaret Supalla of Owatonna , MN , and

several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward and his wife Julie.
