Funeral services for Thomas C. Peterson of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Pastor Mark Niethammer will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN.
Thomas died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at his home in Albert Lea. He was 68 years of age.
Tom was born April 23, 1943 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of George and Angela Peterson. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and Austin Community College.
Tom was a resident of Albert Lea all of his life and had been employed by the City of Albert Lea in the maintenance department.
Thomas is survived by his children; Rodney Peterson of Albert Lea, MN, Brad Peterson of Albert Lea, MN, and Kimberly Peterson of San Diego, CA. Three sisters survive; Betty (Leland) Abben of Albert Lea, MN, Carol Gilderhus of Albert Lea, MN, and Kathy (Gene) Pacovsky of Albert Lea, MN. There are also many nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; David and George Peterson.
