Funeral Services for Thelma A. Hall, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 11, 2014 at
Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. The Reverend John Holt will officiate. Interment will be in
Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before the service at the church.
Thelma died on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was 83. She was born on December 3, 1930 in Lake Mills, Iowa, the daughter of Nels and Agnes (Gulbertson) Bergland.
She attended school in Lake Mills, Iowa. She married Eugene Bolinger, and to this union eight children were born. She later married Ron Green and Jimmy Hall who preceded her in death. In addition to raising her family, Thelma had worked at Land O' Lakes and Skyline Cafeteria. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country music, and peaceful rides to the state park.
She is survived by her children: Jack Bolinger, Danny Bolinger (Lisa), Terry (Deb) Bolinger,
Tom (Colleen) Bolinger, and Steve Bolinger all of Albert Lea, son-in-law Lonny Broitzman of Glenville,
13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren; brother Arden Bergland, sisters-in-law Gladys Bergland and Margaret Bergland, and several nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Eugene, Ron and Jimmy, her sons Dale Bolinger and Mark in infancy, daughter Diane Broitzman, brothers: John, Ole, Marvin, Wallace, Helmer and Truman Bergland, sisters: Wilma Flattum, Verna Tysver, Nettie Thorson and Norma Hickman, and special friend LeRoy Tostenson.
