Funeral services for Tague W. Ferguson of Cache, OK, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, MN. Pastor Todd Walsh will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 PM at the Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St Theodore Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN. Military honors will be accorded by the Army National Guard Charlie Company 824 ASB.
Tague died suddenly on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home in Cache, OK. He was 43 years of age.
Tague was born October 9, 1969 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Linda (Kerr) and Joe Ferguson. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and was attending Cameron University in Lawton, OK, at the time of his death.
He was united in marriage to Dawn Logan on September 7, 1991 in Maitland, MO.
Tague was retired from the US Army. He was active in the Army National Guard serving multiple tours of duty as a combat medic, communications specialist and most recently as operations NCO.
Tague enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. He had schooling in carpentry and put those skills to work. He always had a willingness to help others.
Tague is survived by his wife Dawn of Cache, OK, daughters Stephanie Ferguson of Wichita Falls, TX, Erica Nelson of Minnesota and granddaughter Ella Ann Nelson. Mother and father Linda Ferguson and Joe Ferguson both of Albert Lea, MN. Other survivors include uncles Bob (Gail) Ferguson of Bend, OR, Randy Kerr of Albert Lea, MN, aunt Robin Ferguson of Albert Lea, MN, Father and Mother in law Larry (Mary) Hicks of Maitland, MO, grandmother Marie Ferguson of Albert Lea, MN, sisters in law Melody (Bill) Schluter of Maryville, MO, Heather (Gary) Byrns of Lawton, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Eddie (Dagmar) Kerr and paternal grandfather Kenneth Ferguson.
