The memorial service for Steven Craig Besco will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea, MN. Pastor Richard Spande will officiate.
Steven died on Monday, October 19, 2009. He was 52 years old.
Steven was born in Freeborn County on January 17, 1957, the son of Howard Roy Besco and May Nellis. He had lived in the Hollandale and Clarks Grove areas most of his life. Steven had worked at Farmstead, had a milk route for many years and also had farmed raising cattle and pigs. He was a member of Albert Lea Jaycees.
Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his acreage.
Steven is survived by his daughter: Melissa Besco of Faribault, MN; granddaughter, Montana of Faribault, MN; brother, Joe (Sue) Besco of Ames, IA; aunts and uncles: Marcelle Ernest of Clarks Grove, MN, Gladys Besco of Austin, MN, Warren (Millie) Slagle of Colorado; step sister: Wava Besco of Iowa; nephews: Shane (Tracie) Besco of Albert Lea, MN, Russell Besco of Albert Lea, MN, Wendy Besco of Emmons, MN, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Roy Besco; mother May and step father Bob Nellis; brother, Russ Besco.
