A Celebration of Life gathering for, Richard M. Frye, will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, May 6 at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Richard was born on September 6, 1958, in Albia, Iowa, the son
of Robert and Mary (Glasford) Frye. He attended grade school in Albia and then moved to Albert Lea where he graduated from high school. He had been employed at Streater Inc, for more than 30 years before retiring in 2009 due to a disability. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and football. His constant companion, his dog "Buddy", was a very important part of Richard's life. Richard died on Friday, April 29, 2011 at his home. He is survived by his mother Mary Glasford of Ely, Iowa, sister Patty Wignall of Cedar Rapids, brother Brad Nutt, nieces Leaha Campbell and Gracie Wood, nephews Jacob Nutt and Joshua Nutt all of Cedar Rapids, and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the family.
