The funeral service for Raymond L. Hendrickson of New Richland, Minnesota will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Le Sueur River Lutheran Church, rural New Richland.
The Reverend Cary Larson will officiate.
Interment will be in the church cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at Friedrich Funeral Home, New Richland.

Raymond was born May 24, 1927 in

Minnesota
to Nordine and Esther (Bjorklund) Hendrickson.
He attended country school near New Richland and

Richland
High School
. Raymond was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
On April 30, 1953 he married Bernice (Reese) Johnson.
They were lifetime residents of the New Richland area.
Ray was a member of Le Sueur River Lutheran Church and served on various committees and was an usher.
He was a truck driver and also farmed.
Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to auctions and spending time with his family.
Raymond is survived by his children:
Curtis W. (Sandra) Hendrickson of New Richland, MN, Keith A. (Laurie) Hendrickson of New Richland, MN, and Dawn L. Hendrickson (Jeff) Thompson of Byron, MN;
step children:
Gloriann Johnson Rudolph of Folsom, CA and Noreen Johnson (Gene) Lewis of Haleyville, AL;
18 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

are four sisters-in-law::

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bernice; sister-in-law:

Daryle Rudolph.
