The funeral service for Pearl Beatrice Hoverson will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at First Lutheran Church Chapel, Albert Lea, MN. Pastor------- will officiate. Burial will be in Central Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the chapel. Bonnerup Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
Pearl was born in Freeborn County, MN on May 15, 1906, the daughter of Ole and Mattie (Hoveland) Hoverson. She was baptized and confirmed at Central Freeborn Lutheran Church. She transferred her membership to First Lutheran Church as a young woman.
Pearl worked at Naeve Hospital for many years until her retirement. She did volunteer work for SEMCAC for many years. She enjoyed sewing and having coffee with her friends.
Pearl is survived by one niece Shirley Sweet and her husband, Wayne of Nashville, TN; one nephew, Paul Grasdalen and his wife, Marilyn of Albert Lea, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Stella Evenson and Norma Grasdalen.
