Funeral services for Patricia "Pat" Ann Roche of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Albert Lea, MN. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Patricia died Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Albert Lea Good Samaritan Center. She was 83 years of age.
Pat was born October 22, 1934 in Freeborn County the daughter of Raymond and Agnes (Peterson) Warner. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1952 and was united in marriage to Lawrence Roche on October 9, 1954 at St Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. Pat was a lifetime resident of Albert Lea and a member of St Theodore Catholic Church.
Her first job was with Emil Olson's where she met her husband, Lawrence who, also worked there. She worked for the Eagle's Club, the Stable's Restaurant and the Albert Lea Country Club. She retired from Church Offset Printing having worked there for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles and crosswords, dancing and camping. She loved to collect and make teddy bears and winters in Texas. Pat was on the family council at Good Samaritan for many years.
Pat is survived by her son Mark and his wife Marilyn Roche of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Grandchildren Michelle Roche, Melanie (Stan) Stepka and Melissa (Dale) Amos. Great grandchildren include Kimberly, Anthony, Taylor, Mackenzie, Reyna, Makayla, Mavrik and Madison. Also surviving is niece Tami Jo (John) Johnson and their children Megan and Kayla, nephew Richard Bolinger and his children Shawn and Shane and special cousins Richard and Perian Buringa and their children Kate and John.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; parents, Ray and Agnes; sister, Jeanine Bolinger; and in laws, John and Mary Roche.
