Patricia Carlin

Patricia Ann Carlin, age 86, died peacefully on March 10, 2019 in Albert Lea. She was born October 3, 1932 to Thomas Martin and Mary Elizabeth Carlin in Preston, Minnesota. Patty spent a lot of time in her younger years at the Gillette Hospital in St. Paul for surgeries on her legs to help her walk. She attended Preston High School till she could not make it up the stairs for her classes. She spent most of her life living in Preston. Living on River Street meant that every few years the Root River would be running through her bedroom. Later she and her sister Evelyn moved to higher ground and bought a house. Across the street from St. Columban Catholic Church so they could make it to church every Sunday. Patty spent her last years living at the Good Samaritan Society Home in Albert Lea where the staff made her as comfortable as they could. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary and her father Thomas; sisters Mary, Evelyn, Irene, Gladys, and brothers Thomas Jr., Raymond and Joseph. She is survived by her sisters Rose Elam of Silver Bay, MN, Hellen Frank of Prescott, WI, and sisters-in-law, Esther Carlin of San Diego, CA, Marie Carlin of Albert Lea, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 16 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at the church.
