The Funeral Service for Orden A. Jenson of Albert Lea will be held at
10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the First Lutheran Chapel
in Albert Lea. Pastor Dan Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest
Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by Albert Lea Veteran?s Organizations.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at church.
Orden died on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at the Albert Lea Medical Center.
He was 82.
He was born on July 12, 1922, in Hayfield, MN., the son of Iner and Dena ( Bakken) Jensen.
They lived in the LeRoy and Wells area and he attended rural country school.
He married Mabel Ingvaldson on March 8, 1947, and they lived their married life in the Albert Lea area.
Orden was a veteran and a member of the V.F.W.
He enjoyed fishing, watching the Minnesota Twin?s, and spending time with the grandchildren.
He is survived by two children: Ronnie Jenson and his wife Carolyn of Emmons,
Lonnie and her husband Armondo Bennett of St. Paul, MN., grandchildren:
Kellie and her husband Dean Anderson and their daughter Samantha of Hayward, MN., Breck Jenson and children Mackinzie and Alec of Walters, MN., and Holly Bair and her children Derek, Dakota, Lance, and Cherish of Albert Lea; brother Ingvild Jensen and his wife Irene of Mankato, MN., sisters Stella Kopsing of Albert Lea, Doris Herth of Albert Lea, and brother-in-law Roland Trogstad of Albert Lea.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel Jenson; brother Edward Jenson and sister Gladys Hallum
