Nancy Poore

A public gathering for Nancy K. Poore of Albert Lea, MN, will be held on Friday, December, 28, 2018 from 1 until 4 PM at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Nancy died Thursday, December 20, 2018 at her home in Albert Lea, MN. She was 75 years of age. Nancy was born May 10, 1943 in Albert Lea, MN, the daughter of Orville and Nellie (Hass) Hanson. She was a graduate of Albert Lea High School. After graduation she moved to Illinois where she worked for the Chicago Rawhide company for over 40 years. she enjoyed singing with the Hass sisters, playing cards and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Nancy is survived by her sons Don (Jean) Poore of Algoma, WI, Ron (Dawn) Poore of Carpentersville, IL, grandchildren Blaine, Jake, KinderAnn, Sarah and Tyler. There are 11 great grandchildren, sisters Mary (David) Adamson of Apple Valley, MN, Sharon Hanson (Jan Passmore) of Zephyr Hills, FL, Sonja “Sonnie” Woolson of Albert Lea, MN, Sandy Zwick of Albert Lea, MN, Pam (Paul) Jerdee of Albert Lea, MN, brothers Dan (Judy) Hanson of Albert Lea, MN, Paul (Mary) Hanson of Albert Lea, MN, sisters in law Judy Hanson of Albert Lea, MN, Ann Hanson of Buffalo, MN, and brother in law Don Adams of Lake Mills, IA. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jim Hanson, Jerry Hanson, sister LaVonne Adams, and brothers in law Floyd Woolson and Lee Zwick.
