The Funeral Service for Mildred A. Jensen, of LaCrosse, WI, formerly of
Albert Lea
, will be held
at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 25, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
The Reverend
Dan Baker will officiate.
Interment will be in
Graceland
Cemetery
.
Visitation
will be one hour
before services at the church.

Millie passed away in her sleep in the early hours of June 20
th
joining her parents, her husband Frey, sister Charlotte Munson Otteson, and her son Steve all of whom preceded her in death.
She will be missed by all who loved her and shared in her life.
Millie was born to Herman Munson and Lona Stillwell Munson on July 19, 1923 in Bath Township of Freeborn County Minnesota.
Millie was confirmed at
First
Lutheran
Church
in
Albert Lea
and graduated from
Albert Lea
Senior High School
in 1941.
She married Frey Jensen on July 4, 1941.
In 1945, Millie & Frey had a son, Steve, born on January 20.
In 1970, Millie obtained her LPN license and pursued her nursing career in
Mason City
and Albert Lea.
She was a skilled artist and rosemaler.
She was a devoted and adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by Granddaughter Sara Nottestad and her husband Jason, Grandson Zachary Jensen, Great-grandson Joe Nottestad, Daughter-in-law Gretchen, Brother Wally Munson of Owatonna, Sister La Vada Munson Johnson of Osage, Sister Opal Christensen Harms of Albert Lea, half sisters Barbara and Mavis, half brother Paul.
