Funeral services for Maubro E. (Morris) Ochoa of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St Theodore Catholic Church. Father Eugene Stenzel and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN.
Morris died on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Sunrise Cottage in Rochester, MN. He was 84 years of age.
Morris was born November 18, 1928 in Benjamin, TX, the son of Roger Sr. and Agatha (Everette) Ochoa. He was raised in Texas and attended public school there. He lived most of his adult life in Riverside, CA, where he worked as a foreman in the canning factory. He retired in 1990. He has lived for the past five years in Albert Lea. He was united in marriage to Pauline Zamora on July 9, 2009.
Morris enjoyed TV, movies and spending time with the grandchildren. He loved music and going dancing.
Morris is survived his wife Pauline of Albert Lea, MN, sons Morris Jr. of Ft Worth, TX, Eugene (Vicky) of Ft Worth TX, John (Sylvia) of Ft Worth, TX, step daughters Lynn (Jim) Webb of Green Bay, WI, Darice (Steve) Hamberg of Albert Lea, MN, Linda (Stanley) Miller of Loveland, CO, step sons Larry (Louise) Jaramillo of Riverside, CA, and Albert (Shannon) Jaramillo of Seattle, WA. There are 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Brothers and sisters surviving include Roger (Mary) Ochoa of Wichita Falls, TX, Edward (Yolanda) Ochoa of Wichita Falls, TX, Patrick (Gerry) Ochoa of Houston, TX, Ortencia Fernandez of Wichita Falls, TX, Sarah (Frank) Perez of Wichita Falls. TX, Lucia (Ignacio) Saldonia of Wichita Falls, TX and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy and one grandson.
