Remembering the life of Margaret A. Olson..
The Funeral Service for Margaret A. Olson of Albert Lea , will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at St. Theodore Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour before the service
at the church. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home on Monday.
She was born on November 4, 1908, in Easton, Minnesota to daughter of John and Emma (Hassing) Rauenhorst.
She graduated from Mount Carmel High School in Easton in 1926 and then moved to Albert Lea.
She married Arnold "Nick" Olson in 1930.
She had worked at Skinners for ten years and then at Northpark for 20 years.
She was a member of St. Theodore's Catholic Church and had been active in the C.C.W. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Senior
Citizens.
Margaret loved to play cards, did beautiful needlework and was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan.
Margaret had lived at Senior Towers in Albert Lea or the past 10 years, entering
into Good Samaritan Center in July.
She died on Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Center. She was 95.
She is survived by two children: Delores "Dode" and her husband C.F. "Skin"

great grandchildren: Chad Anderson and his wife Melissa of Lindenhurst, ILL., Kari Matson of Albert Lea, Dustin VerHey of Eagan, MN., Shanna VerHey of Forest Lake, MN., Amber Anderson of Rochester, MN., Jeremy Anderson and his wife Sally of Clarks Grove, MN., Jessica and Rachael Lybeck of New Richmond, WI., Anna, Kathryn, and Julia Hilgedick of Eau Claire, WI., 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, sisters Gertrude and Martha in infancy and Agnes Babeneau and Lucille Rauenhorst; a brother Fred Rauenhorst.
