The Celebration of Life Service for Lynn Marie (Nesseth) Waltz will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the Assembly of God Church in Albert Lea. The Reverend Lee Freshour will officiate. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at the church. Interment will be in Northfield Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Lynn went to be with Jesus at her home on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at the age of 57. She was born on February 5, 1957, in Northfield, Minnesota the daughter of Joseph and Lillian (Standforth) Nesseth. Lynn grew up in Northfield and graduated from Northfield High School. She raised her children Eric, Craig and Amy in Faribault. She married Darcy D. Waltz on April 4, 2004, at the Assembly of God Church in Albert Lea and they lived in rural Clarks Grove. Lynn had worked at Sheldahl/Multek from 1981 until 2012, and then at Agilis until 2014.
She was a member of the Albert Lea Assembly of God Church. Lynn enjoyed going to garage sales and going for Sunday drives, but mostly she treasured her children and grandchildren. Lynn had a very kind, loving heart. She always made holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and any event, very special celebrations. She will be deeply missed by her husband Darcy, her children: son Eric (Erika) Sletten and children Lauren and Harper; son Craig( Kali) Sletten and children Annie and Adam; daughter Amy (Jon) Scheeler and soon to be granddaughter; step-daughter Angie (Tim) Butler and children Matthew, Mackenzie, Natalie, and Nakayla; step-sons: Levi Waltz, Jade Waltz and Maverick Waltz; brothers: Dan (Cheryl) Nesseth, Thomas (Wanda) Nesseth, Mark (Bev) Nesseth; mother-in-law Doris and her husband Arza Palmer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Daryl (Donna) Waltz, Dale (Debbie) Waltz, Dalys (Diane) Waltz, Darla (Hallie) Pruitt, Dana Waltz, Dalare (John) DeLaney, Dylan (Jennifer) Waltz, and many, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lillian Nesseth and her father-in-law Dean Waltz and his wife Dorothy. She will be lovingly missed and always remembered.
