Lorretta Anderson

Funeral services for Lorretta M. Anderson, of Macomb, Illinois, will be at 10:30 AM Saturday Sept. 21, 2013 at the LeSueur River Lutheran Church in New Richland, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Brian Gegel is officiating. Burial will take place at LeSueur Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to LeSueur River Lutheran Church or Pontoppidan Lutheran Church. Friedrich Funeral Home, New Richland, is assisting the family.
Lorretta M. Anderson, age 92, passed away at 7:45 AM Thursday September 12, 2013 at Countryview Care Center in Macomb.
Lorretta was born April 25, 1921 in Lemmond Township, Minnesota to Carl E. and Mary Hanson Johnson. She married Milan H. Anderson on Sept. 10, 1939. He preceded her in death on Sept.22, 1988.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Macomb, Macomb Eagles Club and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Lorretta enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband. Some of her favorite trips were to California, Alaska, England, Scotland, and Whales. She also liked to read, and would frequently be seen doing the crossword puzzles in the paper. Although she liked to traveling, reading, and crossword puzzles, Loretta's family was most important to her, and her favorite moments were the ones spent with her family.
She is survived by her children; Dale (Dolly) Anderson of Brainerd, Minnesota, Constance Crawford of Macomb, Illinois, Daniel (Jean) Anderson of Industry, Illinois, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters; Eunice Colmar and Elaine Halla both of Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
