The funeral service for Lola Marie Hagen of New Richland, Minnesota will be Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Richland. Reverend Paul Andree will officiate. Interment will be in St. Olaf Cemetery. Friedrich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lola died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the New Richland Care Center. She was 92 years old.
Lola was born April 6, 1915 at Fort Dodge, Iowa to John and Fema (Maslakov) Miskoff. She grew up in the New Richland area and graduated from New Richland High School where she had been a member of the band. Lola was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of New Richland. She had worked for Romine Produce, Land-O-Lake?s and Jensen produce all of New Richland. Lola was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and was a former 4 H leader. Lola enjoyed crocheting and doing other needle work, gardening, doing yard work, raising strawberries and asparagus, bowling, dancing, and listening to old time music. Lola enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren.
Lola is survived by her daughter: LaVonne Meyer of New Richland, Minnesota; grandchildren: Brad Meyer and his wife Karen of Harrisburg, South Dakota, Bruce Meyer and his wife Anne of Faribault, Minnesota, Brenda Dobberstein and her husband Luke of New Richland, Minnesota; great grandchildren: Allison and Ryan Meyer of Harrisburg, South Dakota, Skylar Meyer of Faribault, Minnesota, Evan , Alex and Alden Dobberstein of rural New Richland, Minnesota; sister: Pola Jeddeloh of Iowa, brother: William Miskoff and his wife Gladys of Hutchinson, Minnesota, brother: Victor Miskoff and his wife Marcella of Omaha, Nebraska and sister Zinna Finlayson of Maple Grove, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents; Husband Jasper; two daughters: Marlys and Lynette; son-in-law: Richard Meyer.
