Linda Herman

Memorial services for Linda Marie Herman of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until the time of service at the funeral home. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate. Linda died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Prairie Senior Cottage in Albert Lea. She was 71 years of age. She was born January 2, 1947 in Albert Lea, MN, the daughter of Delvin and Dorothy (Hemry) Johnson. She was a graduate of Albert Lea High School and the Albert Lea Vo Tech. Linda worked for over 20 years at Woodvale in Albert Lea and for several years with Crest Services. Linda was united in marriage to William Herman. She loved dogs and cats and her pet blackbird “Squawky”, and enjoyed collecting Angels and stuffed animals. Together they loved going to the county and state fair and in good weather, riding around town on their scooters. Linda is survived by her son Jon Battleson and fiancé Kris Renchin of Albert Lea, MN, daughter Mary Allen and friend Mike Anderson of Glenville, MN, grandchildren Dillan Turvold and Alexis Allen and one great granddaughter Lily Turvold. Also surviving is one brother David (Mary) Johnson of Cannon Falls, MN, sister Marcia Johnson of Rochester, MN, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband William. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
