The funeral service for Lenore Judith Gwendolyne Johnson of Austin, Minnesota will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Friedrich Funeral Home, New Richland. The Reverend Charles Espe will officiate. Interment will be in the Vista Lutheran Church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Lenore died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the ComforeCare Nursing Home, Austin, Minnesota. She was 73 years old.
Lenore was born February 11, 1934 in Otisco Township, Waseca County, Minnesota to Carl O. and Edith (Johnson) Johnson. She has lived in Waseca, Rochester, Owatonna and Austin. She was a member of Vista Lutheran Church, rural New Richland. Lenore did production work for Owatonna and Austin companies, worked for E. F. Johnson Company of Waseca, Owatonna Canning Company, Sun Lite Foods Owatonna and was a waitress for the Pheasant CafAC., Waseca.
Lenore is survived by four sons: Jeffrey Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Keith Johnson and Bruce Johnson all of the Waseca area. Sister: Helen Miller of Hayfield, Minnesota, Gertrude Johnson of Owatonna; brother Delbert Johnson of New Richland.
Lenore was preceded in death by her husband Orville Johnson; sister: Dorothy, brothers: Glen, Lowell and Harvey
