Lenore A. Delhanty, 56, of Pine Island, MN, died at home on Wednesday morning November 8, 2017. She had recently been diagnosed with cancer. She was born on May 27, 1961, in Twin Lakes, Minnesota, the daughter of Jerry and Alyce (Carter) Ovrebo. Lenore graduated from John Marshall High School and later Winona State University with a degree in computer Science. She had been an IBM employee for more than 10 years. Lenore had a great love for animals, especially horses, cats, and dogs. She enjoyed the quiet, simple life, reading, crocheting, watching TV, and long leisurely sleeps were among her favorite things. She is survived by her children: Denise Delhanty (Michael Ayers) and Jerry Delhanty both of Rochester, MN; a sister Jeanie (Jim) Michelizzi of Pine Island, MN, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Alyce Ovrebo. A time for family and friends to visit and share memories of Lenore will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. on Friday, November 17 at Bonnerup Funeral Service, 2210 East Main Street, Albert Lea, MN.
