Memorial services for Lenny C. Hultgren of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Pastor Mark Boorsma will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Central Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery, rural Albert Lea.
Lenny died Monday, May 29, 2017 at his home in Albert Lea. He was 60 years of age.
Lenny was born October 22, 1956 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Donald and Delores (Christenson) Hultgren. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and was married July 24, 1993 to LouAnn Hallum at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.
Lenny had been employed for many years with Jim and Dudes Plumbing in Albert Lea and was self-employed as a dry wall installer. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and 4 wheeling. He was an excellent cook and loved to spend time with his family and kids.
Lenny is survived by his wife LouAnn of Albert Lea, MN, mother Delores Hultgren-Nasby of Stewartville, MN, children Dominique Caspers of Minneapolis, MN, Tammy (Dan) Johnson of Coldwater, MI, Michelle McClish of Ocean Springs, MS, Mike (Stephanie) Olson of Albert Lea, MN. There are 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers Mark (Julie) Hultgren of Burnsville, MN, Lonny (Ann) Hultgren of Burnsville, MN, sisters Sherri (Ed) Twohey of Stewartville, MN Deb Osowski of Brooklyn Park, MN, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Don, step father Vern,, grandparents, two sisters in law Diane and Sandra, twin nephews Matthew and Michael, nephew Hunter and father and mother in law Glen and Gladys Hallum.
