Lemour Ferley passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home in Albert Lea. He was 93 years old.

Lemour was born to Lawrence and Luella (Sorenson) Ferley on June 8, 1922 in Northwood, IA. He graduated from Northwood High School in 1940. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in October of 1942 and served as a Tsgt at Miramar, California, the Philippines, and China. He was discharged in May, 1946. He married Crystal Anderson on May 15, 1943 while stationed at San Diego, California.

Since his discharge, he worked as a salesman at the Motor Inn for 48 years. He loved the challenge of selling cars because it's the second biggest purchase people make, next to buying a house.

In his earlier years he served in various committees in the YMCA. He was also a charter member and past president of the J.M. Snyder Y-s Mens Club. He also served on many other committees at the First Lutheran Church where he still was an active member. He was also a member of the Lions Club, Elks, Legion, VFW, Albert Lea Country Club, and Fountain Investment Club.

In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, and watching all sports. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal; daughter, Jane and husband Michal Hanson and their children Jeff (fiancée Jasmine) and Kelli; sister, Elaine (Emmons) Rogness and husband Ralph; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Howard Emmons, Glen and Lester Anderson, Merrit Hopfe; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Hopfe.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
