Memorial services for Leland (Lee) Wadding will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, July 3 at
Grace
Lutheran
Church
in Albert Lea.
The Reverend Todd Walsh will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 2 at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

, Glenville. Leland (Lee) Wadding, 76, passed away on June 29, 2010 after a 3 year battle with cancer surrounded by the love of his family.
Lee was born on a farm near Myrtle, MN on October 29, 1933 to Lloyd and Mabel
(Kleven) Wadding, the oldest of three children.
Lee was baptized and confirmed at

in Glenville.
He attended elementary school in a country school in Glenville.
Lee moved with his family to
Albert Lea
where he attended
Albert Lea
Senior High School
.
At the age of 20, Lee began laying floors for Floorcrafters where he worked for the next 34 years.
In 1987 Lee began laying floors independently until he was stricken with cancer in 2007.
He was known around the area for his detailed work on the floor laying jobs. In 1959 Lee married Eileen Wendelboe at the
First
Lutheran
Church
in Albert Lea.
A son Mitchell was born from this union.
On July 29, 1967 Lee married Constance (Connie) Boone at
First
Lutheran
Church
in Albert Lea.
From this union, Shannon, Sherri, Sandi and Steven were born. Lee enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren-teasing them to no end. He also enjoyed watching the Twins and Vikings and his trips “down south” to Diamond Jo’s.
Lee is grateful for all the care that was given to him by hospice.
Marcie (hospice RN) hospice volunteers and his family who was there for him 24 hours a day for the last 3 months of his life.

Lee was preceded in death by stepson Charles, father Lloyd and father-in-law Chessle Boone, several aunts, uncles and grandnephew David Kenis.
