KATHRYN AMANN OBITUARY?..





The funeral service for Kathryn Amann of Albert Lea, MN will be at 2:00 PM Monday, October 29, 2007 at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Albert Lea, MN. Father Jim Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour before service at the church. Interment will be in the St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery, Albert Lea.



Kathryn died on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea, MN.

She was 96 years old.



Kathryn was born in Tracy, MN on March 25, 1911, the daughter of Robert Adolph and Othelia (Johnson) Mellang. Kathryn graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1929.

She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. She was married to Armin Amann on November 2, 1942 in St. Paul, MN.



Kathryn worked at Interstate Power Co., Attorney?s Peterson & Gunderson, King Seeley Thermos Co., Attorney?s Gunderson & Swenson. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church C.C.W., Guild #3, Arc of Freeborn Co., Red Cross, K.C. Auxiliary and T.N.T.?s.



Kathryn is survived by her children: Paul (Bonnie) Amann, Jack (Sharon) Amann, Jean ?Trink? (Lee) Van Guilder, Beth ?Bebe? (John) Ruud; grandchildren: Paula (Todd) Burkart,, Eric Amann, Andi (Paul) Anderson, Paul ?Tony? Amann, Amy Van Guilder (Paul Trusten), Krista (Clint) Anderson, Brian Ruud, Adam Ruud; great grandchildren: Brittany, Kadin, Josiah, Mia, Jacob, Alyssa, Logan, Dylan, Hunter and Ella; many nieces and nephews.



Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Adolph and Othelia Mellang; husband, Armin Amann, sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Casey Roscoe.



Memorials preferred to St. Theodore Catholic Church, Good Samaritan Communities of Albert Lea, Crossroads Community Hospice, ARC of Freeborn Co., Peace & Power of First Lutheran Church.
