The funeral service for June Elaine Taylor of Austin, Minnesota will be 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday, at Our Saviors' Lutheran Church Albert Lea. The Reverend Wayne Halvorson and Vicar James Kassera will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour before the service at the church.
June died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN. She was 71 years old.
June was born June 21, 1939 in Elkton, Minnesota to Arthur and Edna (Stream) Culbert. She has resided in the Albert Lea and Austin area. June attended Our Savior Lutheran Church. June worked as an nursing assistant for various nursing homes and also was a very hard worker and worked for different factories. June attend the Bridge Club in Austin, Minnesota. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, dancing, and music. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
June is survived by four children: Joyce Bakke and her husband Rev. Darryl of Austin, Minnesota; Paul Schroeder and his wife Cheryl of Albert Lea, Minnesota; Rick Scholten and his wife Lora of Steen, Minnesota; LaVern Schroeder of Bryon, Minnesota; grandchildren: Seth, Luke and Timothy Bakke all of Austin, Minnesota; Jennifer and Ruben Trevino, Mike and Travis Schroeder of Albert Lea, Minnesota; Ana Schroeder of Bryon, Minnesota; Randy Gulbrandson of Clarks Grove, Minnesota September Maricle of Austin, Minnesota; C.J. Maricle of Northwood, Iowa; Tera Churchill and Derick Ehde of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Cody and Samantha Scholten of Luverne, Minnesota and Tanner Scholten of Steen, Minnesota and many great grandchildren that loved her; son-in-law: Clarence Maricle of Albert Lea, Minnesota; sisters: Eunice Tippman and her husband Gordon of Caledonia, Mn, Lola Loverink and her husband Harm of Lyle, Minnesota and other relatives in the Albert Lea and Austin area.
June is preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Edna Culbert; Husband: Paul Schroeder; daughter: Kathy Maricle; sister: Dorothy Sullivan; brothers: Melvin and Gerald Culbert.
