A celebration of life for Josephine (JoJo) Boerner of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 304 East 11th St Albert Lea, MN.
Josephine died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, following a lengthy illness. She was 38 years of age.
JoJo was born February 19, 1976 in Freeborn County the daughter of Ronald and Genevieve (Stam) Laite. She graduated from public school in Freeborn County. JoJo was united in marriage to Anthony Boerner and together they made their home in Albert Lea.
She had been employed as a nursing assistant at ThorneCrest Retirement Center and most recently at Brown Printing in Waseca, MN. In her free time she enjoyed fishing and camping, art and drawing and sing karaoke.
JoJo is survived by her husband Anthony of Albert Lea, MN, father Ronald and wife Becky Klein of Albert Lea, MN, children Eric, Faith and Nathanial Newton, mother in law Marlene Boerner, sister Christine Laite, brothers Ronald (Tammy) Laite, Dean Laite, sister in law Angie Sanchez, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, nephew Trever Benner and father in law Edwin Boerner.
