Jeffrey Kamp

Jeffrey Duane Kamp passed away at his home on November 2, 2014. He was 53 years old. A graveside service will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Graceland Cemetery in Albert Lea. Pastor John Holt will officiate. Jeffrey Duane Kamp was born on January 6, 1961 to JoAnne (Kamp) Lester. He has lived in the Austin and Albert Lea areas the majority of his life. Jeff graduated from Austin High School and joined the Army, serving for 16 years. He has held jobs at Schweigert, Wilson meatpacking plant, and Farmstead. Jeff was an active member of the American Legion. He recently joined First Lutheran Church after spending time there over the past year. Jeff enjoyed watching Minnesota sports and taking care of his beloved cats, Blinkie and Princess. Jeffrey will be missed by his brother, Timothy Lester of Austin, MN and his children, Garrett, Zoe, and Brady Lester, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, JoAnne Lester; grandparents, Mildred and Vernon Kamp; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
