Memorial services for Jeanne Ann Ruble, longtime resident of Austin, MN, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the St Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, MN. Pastor Paul Lutter will officiate. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, MN.
Jeanne died Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016 at the Select Senior Living in Coon Rapids, MN. She was 71 years of age. Jeanne was born June 1, 1944 in Austin, MN, the daughter of Theodore and Esther (Dahlback) Fricke. She graduated from Austin High School in 1962 and Austin Community College in 1978. Jeanne had been employed by the University of Minnesota Hormel Institute in Administration for 35 years. In 1990 she was united in marriage to Randy Ruble who preceded her in death.
Jeanne enjoyed music and dancing, (loved Elvis music!) traveling with her husband Randy in a band also knitting and sewing.
She is survived by her sons Jeff (Val Jacobs) Perry of Ramsey, MN, and Todd Perry of Lakeville, MN. Grandchildren include Riley, Carter, and Crosby Perry, Olivia, Matthew, Martha, Eleanor and Gweneviere Perry. One brother survives; Jerry (Kathy) Dahlback of Onalaska, WI.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Randy and granddaughter Ellie Perry.
