The funeral service for Janice Marie Thompson of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. Pastor Curtis

Zieske will officiate. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour before the service at the church.



Janice died November 18, 2003 at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 70 years old.



Janice was born in Owatonna, MN, on November 12, 1933, the daughter of August and Meta (Abraham) Froehlich. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1951. She grew

up in Owatonna and later moved to Albert Lea in 1957. She was married to Richard Thompson June 28, 1953 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Meridan, MN. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. Janice worked at Federated Insurance and Best Western Motel. She was a past

president of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed cross stitching, playing Bunco and spending time with her family and friends.



Janice is survived by her husband, Richard ; 2 daughters: Debbie and husband, Jim Hicks of Hollister, Idaho, Kristi and special friend, Steve Waldo and his son Colten of Albert Lea, MN; Grandchildren: Josh and wife, Leslie Thompson and their son, Manny all of Vail, OR, Nicci and husband, Travis Thomas and their children, Lexi and Cera all of Twin Falls, Idaho;

brothers: Melvin(Pete) and wife, Delores Froehlich of Owatonna, MN, Martin(Tardy) and wife, Majie Froehlich of Owatonna, MN; sisters-in-law: Wilma Froehlich of Scottsdale, AZ, Betty Lageson and her husband Gerald of Faribault, MN, Shirley Thompson of Golden Valley, MN and Judy Thompson of Golden Valley, MN, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; her dog, Baylee.



Janice was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John and brother in infancy.
