James Radke

James William Radke, age 80, of Manchester, Minnesota, passed away on January 13, 2025.

James was born in Wells, Minnesota on August 29, 1944, to Edwin Alphonse and Marcella Mary (Kalis) Radke. He was raised in Wells and later moved to Ellendale, where he graduated from Ellendale High School.

In 1962, James enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country for 3 years and spent much of that time stationed in Germany.

James married his wife, the late Linda Odson, on December 30, 1996.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and birdwatching. He loved shopping for most anything, and was always looking out for a bargain. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his step-granddaughters.

James is survived by his siblings Ron Radke, Joan (Michael) Cutajar, Ted Radke, and Elaine Dornquast; step-children Wayne Stinehart, Julie (Dan) Stuart, and Michael (Agnes) Stinehart; brothers -in-law Duane Odson and Larry Rygh; sisters-in-law Jeannie (Lyle) Boyer and Carolyn (Arlen)Kjarland; step-grandchildren Abby, Kimberly (Cody), Gracelynn, Brandi, Kenny, Marissa, Makayla, Summeer, Dominick, and Jeannie; step-great-grandchildren Salem, Killian, and Rowan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin & Marcella, wife Linda, brother Tom, and sisters-in-law Carmen Radke, Pat Radke, Connie Rygh, and Judy Odson; and Kenneth and Marion Odson.
