A graveside service for Harlan Rodney Anderson will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN. Bonnerup Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
Harlan died on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Good Samaritan Center. He was 68 years old.
Harlan was born in Albert Lea, MN on April 15, 1936, the son of Kenneth S. and Edna (Hassberg) Anderson. He was a lifetime resident of Albert Lea and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. He was a 1954 graduate of Albert Lea High School and graduated with honors from Austin Area Vocational School in the three year electronics program.
Harlan had worked for the Rivoli Theater in Albert Lea until 1967 when he became disabled following a traffic accident. He enjoyed music and had a large collection of phonograph records.
Harlan is survived by his sister, Shirley Parry of Stewartville, MN; two nephews: James R. (Melanie) Parry of Stewartville, MN and Christopher J. (Sarah) Parry of West Salem, WI; two grandnephews: Jack and Jordan Parry of Stewartville, MN and one grandniece, Abigail Parry of Stewartville, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Edna Anderson.
