Remembering the life of Gudrun Olina Olson
Graveside services for Gudrun Olina "Goodie" Olson will be held
at the Lime Creek Lutheran Cemetery, rural Emmons on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 1:00 PM.
The Reverend John Holt
will officiate. Following services a time of sharing and remembering will
be held at Channelview Apartments in Albert Lea.
Goodie passed away at the Elim Home in Princeton MN on March 13, 2005 with loved ones by her side.
She was born on July 20, 1924, in Yellow Medicine County, MN, the daughter of
Christian and Kaja Kvale.
Throughout her life she had lived in Washington, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio,
Texas and Louisiana.
Goodie held such jobs as putting motors in semi-trucks, cutting timber, driving trucks, hauling grain, lumber and farm machinery, managing a restaurant and a print shop, running a huge plastic mold injection machine, and being the parts manager and sometimes mechanic for auto dealers in Minneapolis and Cleveland Ohio.

She married Irving Orlando Olson on July 9, 1966. He preceded her in death in 1994.
She had been a member of the V.F.W. and Legion Auxiliaries and the Golden Age Club.
She is survived by: sister Mabel Bandow of Wahkon, MN; brother James Kvale of Balsam Lake, WI many relatives and good friends.
Goodie enjoyed her family and the many good friends she had in her life. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all. Goodie loved music and was very talented at playing the guitar and accordian.
She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, four brothers and one siser.
We will all remember being one of the "sheep" in her flock............!
