Remembering the life of Frances V. Kaasa.....
The Funeral Service for France V. Kaasa of Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea,will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday December 18, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at Good Samaritan Center. Bonnerup Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frances died on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Good Samaritan. She was 88.
She was born on September 22, 1919, in Kossuth County, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Elsie Berhow.
She married Kenneth Kaasa later in her life.
She had been an Albert Lea resident for most of her life, entering Good Samaritan as her health failed.
Frances enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her brother Richard Berhow and his wife Ora Mae of Osceola, WI and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers: Owen, Harley, Oscar, Justin and Allen Berhow, sisters: Beatrice Pierce, Clarice Runksmeier and Iona Govern. Blessed be her memory.
