The Memorial Service for Evelyn D. Stadheim, of
Albert Lea
, will be held at
11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the
First
Lutheran
Church
in
Albert Lea. Pastor John Holt will officiate. An interment service will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday at
Lakewood
Cemetery
, for those that wish to attend.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Friday at Bonnerup

Evelyn died in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
She was born on March 22, 1932, in
Freeborn
County
, the daughter of
David and Clara (Bergeson)Opdahl.
Evie was a graduate of
Alden
High School
and later obtained her
R.N. degree from
Naeve
Hospital
School
of Nursing.
On August 1, 1953, she was united in marriage to
Arnold
M. Stadheim.
They made their home in
Albert Lea
and were blessed with five children.
She was a member of
First
Lutheran
Church
where she had served
as a Sunday School Teacher, president of First Lutheran
Church Women and a member of Circle #29.
She was a member of P.E.O. and also Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She will be lovingly missed by her family, husband Arnold of

husband Vernon Kaplan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Richard Stadheim, Edna Mae Kocanda, Don Allan, Homer Honsey, Willard Larson and Bill Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Donors Choice or
to the
Evelyn D. Stadheim Memorial Nurses Scholarship.
Evie will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
