The funeral service for Eva Irene Adams of New Richland, Minnesota was held, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church, New Richland. Father Swami Officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, New Richland. Eva died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the New Richland Care Center. She was 93 years old. Eva was born October 28, 1916 at Pocahontas, Iowa to James and Mary (Sharp) Wallace. She attend Vivian Township School through the eight grade. Eva married Christopher Richard Adams on October 17, 1933. After living on the farm place in Vivian Township, she then resided at Matawan, Minnesota until the summer of 1992 when she moved to New Richland.. Eva was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Waldorf, Minnesota and presently All Saints Catholic Church, New Richland Eva raised 13 children. In 1962 she began working at Stamper?s Foods in Wells, Minnesota and retired at the age of 62. Eva was a very active member of the Church Guilds and sold Avon products. She enjoyed crocheting, birds, cats and her fish aquarium. She especially enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eva is survived by twelve children: Pat (Kay) Adams of New Richland, Minnesota, Sharon Kajewski of Arvada, Colorado, Connie (Bruce) Peterson of Freeborn, Minnesota, Linda (Gary) Seltun of New Richland, Minnesota, Mary Dingman of Richfield, Minnesota, Vickie (Bill) Krisko of Mille Lacs Lake, Minnesota, Merle (Sheryl) Adams of Waseca, Minnesota, Chris Adams of Washington, Jay (Jean) Adams of Goodhue, Minnesota, Marty (Jane) Adams of Freeborn, Minnesota, Joan (Dick) Kaasa of Florida and Patti (Mike) Lesto of Wells, Minnesota; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, Eva was preceded in death by her parents; husband Christopher in February of 1992; son Mark Adams; daughter Mary Adams and proceeded in death by her seven siblings.
