The Celebration of Life for Eunice D. Bolinger, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Pastor Eileen Woyen will officiate. Interment will be led by Anthony Villerreal following the service at Graceland Cemetery. We welcome friends and family for a visitation from 4-7 pm. on Monday, February 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Eunice gained her angel wings on Thursday, February 8, 2018, entering the gates of heaven at 11:10 A.M. surrounded by family. She battled multiple myeloma courageously with a smile on her face for 14 months.
She was born June 14, 1954 at Naeve Hospital in Albet Lea. The daughter of John Edward and Mary Lou Brenke. She was baptized in Henderson, MN, attended Sunday School and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church.
She attended and graduated from Albert Lea Central High in 1972. She attended Albert Lea Vo-Tech following high school. She later was united in marriage to John (Jack) Bolinger in 1975, from this union 3 children were brought to this world. Throughout her life, she touched many lives and her main focus was her children and grandchildren. She had 3 biological children but was “mom” to many. Her door was always open to
whomever in need. She took pride in being the #1 cheerleader whether it be school related or sporting events, she was always there with her smile. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and spending time with friends and family. An area where she excelled was caring for people, she spent 19 years working for Elm Homes caring for the mentally and physically challenged. She received many awards for her expertise and kindness in her many years of service.
Survivors included daughter Danielle (Damian) Bure and children Desmond and McKenzie, Ryleigh, Laynie and Tyler, son Justin and his son Gavin, son Cody & Katie, and children Brynley, Brycin, Braydin, Serenity, and Korah. Surviving mother Mary Brenke; sister Roxanne Brua, her son Travis and her grandchildren Zaden and Korah; sister Deb Chodur (Gary) and children Nathan and Sara; brother Steven (Rose) Brenke and children Chawn and Amber Rose; brother Darrell Brenke and child Daryl, Jan Brenke;
sister Darla (Graden) Nelson and children David, Anthony and Colton; sister Connie (Jerome) Gibson and children Blake, Adison, Veronica and Jefferson. Also survived by JJ (her fur baby).
Eunice was preceded in death by her father John Edward “ Jack” Brenke, grandparents Eugene and Thelma Bolinger; nephew Mitch Brua, brother-in-law Steve Brua, sister-in-law Diane Broitzman, brother-in-law Dale Bolinger and special friends and family.
She will be forever remembered for her gift of visiting, kindness and infectious laugh and smile.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
