Enrique Hernandez

Memorial Services for Enrique L. Hernandez, of Albert Lea, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Albert Lea. Father Timothy T. Reker and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Enrique died at his home on Monday, July 30, 2012. He was 17.
He was born on April 17, 1995 in Austin, Minnesota the son of Ernesto and Lucina (Martinez) Hernandez.
Ricky walked in his father's shadow, they were always together . He was very proud of his heritage, he so enjoyed the opportunity to travel to Cuba with his father before he died in 2010. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and girlfriend Kayla. He enjoyed family barbeques, and was very proud of being a "Godfather". Working on cars, shopping, and listening to music were his favorite pastimes. Ricky is survived by his mother Lucina Hernandez of Albert Lea, his siblings Irene (Dante) Lopez of Albert Lea, Gabriela Peralta of Albert Lea and Jennifer Hernandez of Albert Lea; step sister Yudysley Hernandez of Italy; his grandmother Irene Hernandez of Cuba; nieces and nephews: Jazmin, Dante, Diego, Jessenia, Janessa, Miquel, YonCarlos, Lilliana, Josefina, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by father and grandparents. Enrique "Ricky" will be remembered as always having a smile on his face. We have you in our hearts Ricky!
