The Funeral Service for Ellsworth "Elsie" G. Nelson of Albert Lea, will be held at
10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Bonnerup Funeral Service, 2210 East Main, Albert Lea. The Reverend Robert Berthold will officiate. Interment will be in
Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour before the service.

Ellsworth died on Friday, March 11, 2011 at his home. He was 79.

Ellsworth was born on October 28, 1931, in Freeborn County, the son of James and Eleanora "Kjos" Nelson.
He graduated from Albert Lea High School.
He married Donna Tovar in December 1958.
Elsie worked at King Sealy/Queens for many years before retiring.
Elsie enjoyed NASCAR Racing, long drives and tinkering on vehicles.
He is survived by daughter Belinda Peterson of Albert Lea and her children: Cory
Peterson of Albert Lea and Danielle Peterson and fiancé "Shorty"and their child: Abigail
Dolph; 4 step-children: Janice Becker of Morgan Hill, CA, Steve Tovar of Albert Lea,
and his child Amber (Richard) Yost of Albert Lea and their children: Ashlyn, Madelyn
and Layton; Rod (Linda) Tovar of Albert Lea and their children: Sarah Tovar
(Al Benson) of Shakopee, MN and their child: Carter; Holly Tovar and her child
Logan of Albert Lea, MN; Mark Tovar of Atlanta, Georgia, sisters Elaine Ramos of
Albert Lea and her fiancée Gary Sanden of Albert Lea; Shirley (Gerald) Bradley of
San Jose, CA, sister-in-law Jean Nelson of Minneapolis, MN and several nieces and
nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Gerald and two nieces: Candace and Trish.
