The Funeral Service for Edna H. Senholtz, of Albert Lea will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 7, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hollandale , MN . Pastor Jeffrey Kuddes will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery . Visitation will be from 4-7 on Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea , MN , and one hour before the service at the church. Edna passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Home. She was 86. She was born on December 13, 1923, to George and Ella Koehn, in Oak Glen , IL . In 1943, she was united in marriage to Roland Senholtz. They farmed in Illinois , Minnesota and Missouri . Edna has resided in Albert Lea since 1996. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hollandale where she enjoyed being involved in Ladies Aid. Edna lived for her family. Her son Mark was her “Special Angel” as it lifted her spirit to care for him, and in these last years he had tenderly cared for her. Survivors include sons: Larry (Kay) Senholtz of Callao, MO, Lyle Senholtz of Albert Lea, Jerry (Barb) Senholtz of Peotone, IL, Mark Senholtz of Albert Lea and Arlen (Peg) Senholtz of Hebron , IN ; grandchildren: Ken (Genny) of St. George , UT , Randy (Tammy) of Albert Lea , Scott (Judy) of Macon , MO , Todd (Ty) of Park Forest , IL , Brent (Chelsie) of Missoula , MT , Corey (Meliny) of Manteno , IL , Matt (Amy) of Stanchfield , MN , Joe (Kris) of Albert Lea , Michael of Rush City , MN, and Jana and her friend Mark of Harris, MN. and 3 step grandchildren: Dan (Carrie) Clark of Crown Point , IN , Sean (Kristine) Clark of Hebron , IN , Amanda Clark (fiancé Tim)of Hammond , IN. She had 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Shirley Koehn of Beecher, IL, and many nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roland, her brother, Edgar, and sister Elma Waterman. Edna will be fondly remembered for her gracious hospitality. She was always ready to share her home, bake with love, and sit and visit around the table. Memorials suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hollandale.
