Duane Ringoen

Funeral services for Duane M. Ringoen of Owatonna, MN, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church Chapel in Albert Lea, MN. Pastor John Holt will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN.
Duane died Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna, MN. He was 81 years of age.
Duane was born August 17, 1936 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Donald and Marie (Madson) Ringoen. He attended country school in Freeborn County. Duane had been employed in the construction business as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Union “49ers”. He has been a member of the First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. In his free time he enjoyed horses and traveled extensively.
Duane is survived by his brothers Terry (Jeanette) Ringoen of Albert Lea, MN, Richard (Coral) Ringoen of Albert Lea, MN, brother-in-law Don E. Johnson and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon Johnson and nephew Todd Johnson.
