Duane died on Thursday morning, July 8, 2010 in New Richland, Minnesota.
He
was 81.
He was born on July 22, 1928, in

, the son of Ralph and Lula
(Schultz)
Lund
.
He graduated from
New
Richland
High School
and then
served our country in the U.S. Navy for a short time.
Duane had worked
in the shipping department at Bemis Company in
Minneapolis
for 23 years before retiring.
He married Norma (Corpus) Oren on October 27, 1995 at the Little Brown
Church in
Nashua
,
IA.
They had lived in
Waterloo
,
Iowa
, for several years and then in
Decorah
,
Iowa
.
Duane enjoyed watching old movies and collecting photographs of movie stars from
days gone by.
He is survived by his wife Norma of
Decorah
,
Iowa
, his brother Douglas
Lund of New Richland,
step children: Mary Lou Cotton (Michael) of Decorah;
Shirley Lucas of
Cincinnati
, OH and Glenn (Shelley) Oren of Boone, IA; 10
stepgrandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren,
an aunt and several cousins.
Duane was preceded in death by his father Ralph and mother Lula.
