REMEMBERING THE LIFE OF DOROTHY M. UNDAHL
The Funeral Service for Dorothy M. Undahl, of St. John's Lutheran Home, Albert Lea, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the First Lutheran Church Chapel. The Reverend John
Holt will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. on Friday at
Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before the service at the church.
Dorothy was born on December 6, 1911, in Hayward, MN., the daughter of Andrew A. and Christine (Rasmussen) Larson. She
graduated from Albert Lea High School.
In 1938, she married Elmer Undahl. Following their marriage
they made their home in Albert Lea, where Dorothy at worked at Northpark for many years.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church where she had
been active in circle and taught Sunday School for many years.
She was a member of the Sons of Norway and the Eagle's Auxiliary.
In her younger years she enjoyed playing bridge and canasta.
Throughout her life she loved music and dancing and enjoyed cooking
and baking.
Dorothy died on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at St. John's Lutheran Home. She was 91.
She is survived by two daughters: Diane and her husband George Rosevear of Rochester, MN., Carol and her husband Edward Dowling of New Rochelle, New York, grandson Scott Beasley, and granddaugthter Dr. Christine Dowling and her husband Matthew
Kmetz and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer in 1953, and two brothers Burdette and Chester Larson.
