The Funeral Service for Doris C. Hill, of
Albert Lea
will be held at
10:30 A.M. Monday, November 10, 2008 at Bonnerup Funeral Service
in Albert Lea.
The Reverend Krista Stokke will officiate.
Interment will be in
Greenwood
Cemetery
in Glenville.
Visitation will be from
3-6 on Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before the
service at the funeral home.
Doris died on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at the
Albert Lea
Medical
Center
.
She was 86.
She was born on April 24, 1922, in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of James and Rosetta (Hauge) Moran.
She attended school near
Fergus
Falls
and then began helping
her parents.
Doris
was united in marriage to Gordon Hill. She had worked at the
Lake
Region
Hospital
in
Fergus
Falls
. After her husbands sudden death in 1964, she moved to the
Albert Lea
area and raised her family.
She was a member of
First
Lutheran
Church
in Glenville.
Doris
quietly raised her seven children and so enjoyed being involved in their lives. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She liked watching television especially soap operas and
game shows.
Doris is survived by her children: Carol (

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon, granddaughter Robin Stender, grandson Daniel Hulburt; great granddaughter Racheal Lenze,
son-in-law Marvin Hulburt, two brothers: Jamey Leon Moran and Harold Dean Moran.
