Donna Neeley, of Albert Lea, died at Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN on June 15, 2016 at the age of 58. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 10, 1957 to Rea and Edward Jerome Sanderson.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be very missed by her daughter, Jena Niemeier; 3 granddaughters, Greta Niemeier, Jacey Niemeier, and Emmy Wangsness; six siblings, Darlene Clawson, Yancey Lee Dion, Robert Dion, Don Dion, Heather Dion, and Dolf Dion, all of the Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas areas. Donna was separated from her husband John C. Neeley of Texas for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Sanderson and her brother, Allen Dion. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother, affectionately called 'NaNa.'
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Abundant Life Church 408 E 18th St (off Margaretha) in Albert Lea. Sweets will be served following the service.
