Diane K. Boullion

Diane K. Boullion, 74, of Blooming Prairie, MN passed away peacefully on May 15, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Diane Boullion was born on December 16,1949 to Leonard and Arlene (Sophie) Hanson of Albert Lea Minnesota; the day after her father's birthday. Leonard used to tell people that she was the most expensive birthday gift he ever received.

Diane married the love of her life, Clement Boullion, on June 10, 1989. The newlyweds made their home on his farm near Blooming Prairie, MN and several years later their daughter Amy was added to complete their family.

Family was important for Diane.  She also had a great love for animals. Her cousins remember visits from her and her parents sometimes including a basketful of poodle puppies.  Diane continued to enjoy the companionship of dogs throughout her life.

Her creative side included sewing clothing for her family over the years. She also enjoyed genealogy and visiting extended family.

 Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amy (James) Neidermeier and her loving pup, Stacy.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Arlene Hanson; husband, Clement in 2010; and her special dog, Kara.

Diane's family will host a memorial service on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 5:00 PM at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie, MN; Pastor Mike Walerius will officiate.  Diane's family will greet guests at a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Graceland Cemetery will take place at a later date.
