Funeral Services for David Arthur Johnson of Conger, MN will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Conger, MN. Pastor Daphne Hamborg will officiate. Interment will be in the Conger Cemetery. Visitation from 4-7 Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, as well as one hour prior to the service at church.
David was born in Albert Lea, MN on August 6, 1955, the son of Carl E. and Irene H. (Beck) Johnson. He graduated from Alden High School in 1973. David had lived in the Conger area all of his life. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Conger. David had farmed for 12 years and had worked for Minnesota Corrugated Box for 26 years. David enjoyed driving around and checking on all the crops and watching for deer. He loved reading the newspaper and keeping up with all the local news.
David is survived by his brothers: Dennis Johnson (Mary) of St. Michael, MN, Delane Johnson (Sue) of Albert Lea, MN; nieces and nephews: Chad Johnson (Angie), Alyssa Snyder (Nils), Matt Peterson, Karen Peterson, Nikki Johnson (Jamie), Brooke Wangsness and Lucas Wangsness; great nieces and nephews: Benjamin and Cole Johnson, Bjorn, Signe, and Mette Snyder, Savannah Talamantes, Isabella and Dylan Peterson, Hunter and Taylor Johnson, Tredan Gilliam and Emmy Wangsness.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Irene Johnson.
